They picked her up at the station, late in the evening;
They'd found her wandering around, alone, in Solomon Square.
"It's dangerous at night Mary; what were you thinking?
You scratched up your arms, running around out there."

Oh, Intervision. I don't know how you've managed to do it, but you've created at least one song that will fit any one of my rapidly-changing moods. No matter what rages or sings or sobs inside, you manifest it into a wonderful audio-visual experience.

She sketched her thoughts on the side of a bathroom door;
Drew a picture of a butterfly, a butterfly with no wings.
And it's stuck inside of a spiderweb, and the rain starts to fall;
Since she can't fly away, she opens her mouth and drinks...

One of these days, I'm going to strip apart a few of their songs and analyze the shet outta them. I want to know exactly what (musical) elements draw me to them.

Mary wore a smile like a policeman wore his vest
When anyone suspected that she forged her happiness.
On the outside, it was alright,
And she never did confess...

I like that particular verse. Not sure why. I can very much identify with it, however.

Foolish people only believed what they could see.
No one knows quite why she climbed up in that willow tree...

...This is a decidedly dark song, I've just discovered. It's gorgeous and Intervisionistic, but rather... dark. Hinting at some decidedly unhappy things. But I can't get over how amazingly beautiful it is. Just... gah. I love this group SO DAMN MUCH.

Iiiiii Looooooove Intervision. So much. They need to come back and have another concert. Like, YES.
